Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is hosting the DEFRA Muck In4Life Roadshow on 13th August to promote healthy and free environmental activities for all the family.
The Muck In4Life campaign aims to encourage people to get involved in a variety of local environment charities. Crealy grows its own fruit and vegetables and provides local sustainability by using local suppliers. Over 70% of produce used at the attraction comes from within the West Country. Crealy encourages a healthy lifestyle and supports the local environment at the same time.
The DEFRA Roadshow will give visitors the chance to meet with representatives who will answer questions about the future of farming in the UK and how Crealy visitors can do their bit at home.
Angela Wright, MBE, Managing Director said, “We are delighted to have the Muck In4Life van visiting Crealy, one of Crealy’s main aims is to encourage respect and understanding of the countryside and farming so this is a fantastic opportunity to show our guests the future of farming in the UK.”
