Making the most of Winter at Crealy November 2009

When most of the tourists have gone home, people living locally are making more use of the county’s favourite attractions.

Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Parks reports a 42% increase in web sales from August to November 2009, against last year.

Angela Wright, founder and Managing Director of Crealy said, “There is no doubt that people are looking for better value for money and so we are seeing many making good use of our free returns - when you can buy a day pass and return free for up to a whole week. Our membership sales are rising, too, with many visitors choosing to become a Crealy Member, pay once then visit free for a whole year. We have held the winter prices from last year so whether our guests visit once or many times, Crealy is top value for money.”

Crealy is offering other special Winter deals including free return tickets for groups visiting before 17th December.

Winter rides include Queen Bess Pirate Ship, Victorian Christmas Carousel, the Meteorite and the Dizzy Dina Ride. Crealy has three huge indoor play areas and hundreds of animals from guinea pigs to ponies. Adults can enjoy the comfortable leather armchairs and free WiFi in Crealy’s Juice Bar or in the new Crealy Bear Café with fair-trade teas, coffees and cakes.

The Winter Park is open Thursdays - Sundays in term-time and daily during the Devon School Holidays (closed annually Christmas Eve - Boxing Day and New Year’s Day). Park open 10am - 5pm with discounted admission rates during the Winter.
