Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is offering people the chance to go on safari for just £15.
The Zoo, a registered charity, is holding a series of Safari BBQ evenings once a month through the spring and summer.
The early-evening events are aimed at families and offer the rare chance to explore parts of the Zoo after hours. Keepers will be on hand to answer questions and give animal enrichment demonstrations. There will also be Jungle Express train rides and musical entertainment.
Functions Manager Nina Brzezicki said: “We start at 5:00pm. Much of the park will remain open for guests to wander around at their leisure. The BBQ will start at 6:30pm in the restaurant gardens. We are putting on sumptuous locally-sourced food and there will be music, too. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Safari BBQ evenings take place on Wednesday 28th April, Wednesday 26th May, Wednesday 30th June, Wednesday 21st July and Wednesday 25th August. Tickets are £15 for adults, £12 children, £45 for a family of two adults and two children. There is a 10% discount for Paignton Zoo Annual Members.
Booking is essential. For further details, telephone 01803 697500 or go to www.paigntonzoo.org.uk. Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is a registered charity.
