Animals
World of Country Life was originally a working farm and there are so many animals waiting to meet you. Come along and meet our pygmy goats and their new kids, baby lambs, calves, Sven and Olaf our cheeky Alpacas, Jack, Minty and Jan the donkeys. Don’t forget to pop by and have a chat with Baby and Yubbie our noisy Cockatoos, stop off and see the Wallabies, rabbits, guinea pigs and all the rest of our resident gang. There is a fantastic daily Birds of Prey flying display and book your ticket for the famous Deer Train Safari where you can hand feed Red Deer and Llama – a truly memorable experience!
Play Areas
Outside there are trampolines, swings, slides, zip line, roundabouts, Air Bouncer and Harry the Harvester – a full sized wooden combine harvester play area! A full size Pirate Ship to clamber on and Digby the full size Digger! don’t forget to explore the Maize Maze – open during the 6 weeks of Summer School holidays
Museums
The park includes a museum of working farm machinery and Victorian street with thatched cottages, blacksmith’s forge and pub and the Hall of Transport – vintage & classic vehicles, steam engines & tractors, the Reg Imray Motorcycle Collection & a number of TV celebrities including vehicles from Downton Abbey & Mr Selfridge.
Entertainment
Daily activities and regular special events mean there is always something to get involved with! Daily shows include the Hawkridge Birds of Prey flying display & Total Wipeout Ferret Racing. Regular special events include Star Wars Day, Father’s Day Welly Wanging and the Vintage & Classic Vehicle Rally.
