Castle Drogo is currently undergoing restoration work as the project to save it reaches a conclusion.
In the castle you’ll be able to see open storage areas and rooms which tell the story of the Drewe family who built it from 1910-1930.
Stroll around the Lutyen’s designed terraced garden including a rose garden and croquet lawn. Or explore the winding paths leading down to Fingle Bridge, an ancient gorge teeming with wildlife.
There are themed children’s trails in school holidays and in the castle families can have a go at completing the questions in the rooms.
