Great day out

We visited with family and had a fantastic day. The wolves are a new addition since we were here 2 years ago and we were lucky that the person who reared the pack is here at the moment and gave a very informative talk. She also made sure she answered everyone’s questions. The birds of prey flying display was also great and generally everything was perfect. Such good value for money compared to other places and the money is for an excellent cause.

Beautiful and natural place to take children. Visited Wildwood with my 6 year old grandson. Really impressed, concentrate on nature and the beauty of the countryside. Very educational good talks about the animals. He loved the anglo saxon village which brought history to life. He loved the bug playground where the climbing frame and slide all blended in with nature.

The animals are so well looked after and the keepers are so enthusiastic about the work.
It’s not too pricey or commercialised, there are not lots of plastic displays and extra charges.
The only criticism I have is there are no recycling bins which would be beneficial. I had to take mine home.
All in all I would recommend it for a good family trip which gets children outside and playing in nature as they should be.

Fantastic value day out for kids. For a very reasonable entry fee, we easily filled a whole day here. Besides the softplay playbarn and the woodland play areas, there was plenty to do. We watched wolves and red squirrels being fed (separately!), saw a falconry display, had a lovely lunch in the cafe and saw loads of other animals while walking around the pretty gardens plus woodland and wetland areas. There is also a Saxon village, where my daughter was able to make a wooden necklace with a rune of her choice on it (just £1) and also to forge a beautiful copper necklace using proper blacksmithing techniques (£2). We all had a brilliant day and wondered why we’d never been here before!

A Great Day Out

A great day out for the family. Our children had a fantastic day looking for all the animals. Plenty of activities for all age groups including a zip wire, forest play area (pirate ship), indoor soft play, trampolines etc.
We enjoyed the beautiful garden with freely roaming peacocks and a nice lunch in the restaurant, with plenty of choice.
The staff were super friendly and very informative.
A top day out.

Good fun day out

We had a great day out we ranged in age from2 to 43 and we all had a great day, the whether was awesome and all of the animals were enjoying it too. The only one we didn’t see on the day was the Lynx apart from that everything made an appearance. There is a play barn for under children, pirate ship area for all age children, plenty of picnic places. We spent a while in the maze having fun trying to find our way and children and adults all had great fun on the drop slide. A really great day for all ages

Fantastic hidden gem of a place

Brilliant place to spend many hours wondering around the animals. The environment is relaxed and friendly and all the animals looked fit and healthy. We loved the place and well worth the entrance fee. Loads for kids to do and get involved in. Simply brilliant. We will definitely be going back for more visits.
