One for foodies and families at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon.
One for foodies and families alike, this event celebrates some of the best food, drink and talent our region has to offer – with a focus on inspiring kids to get cooking.
For the grown-ups, a fantastic line-up of local chefs will provide cooking demonstrations throughout the day, giving you the chance to sample some mouth-watering delights as well as ideas for you to try at home.
In the KidsZone, youngsters can get stuck in to a whole host of hands-on activities. They can choose to create a pizza or fish finger bap for their lunch, with a fruit salad for dessert, decorate a donkey biscuit, have their face painted and get crafty at the colouring-in station. Throughout the day, they will also have the chance to take part in one of 6 workshops or demonstrations run by The King’s School. Entry in to the KidsZone costs £5 per child.
There will of course be an opportunity to treat yourself to some high-quality local artisan produce, before tucking in to delicious eats and refreshments from local street food vendors.
Free parking and dogs are welcome on a lead. All proceeds go directly to the worldwide work of The Donkey Sanctuary.
