My self and my 12 year old did the snorkel experince for my birthday.
It was the best money we have ever spent.
It was a totally emmersive experince. Chris our liason was so insanely knowledgeable and kind. We felt very safe and looked after.
To start the experince Chris took us to the big tanks and answered any questions and gave us loads of information about the sea creatures.
Then we did the experince. It was amazeing. Truly awe-inspiring . Friday the turtle was so mischievous and the sharks were mindbendingly awsome.
Chris took a ton of photos for us. And as the cage we were in is transparent you truly felt like u were present with the sea life. While still feeling safe. It was sublime.
We also went round the aquarium and you can tell how well the sea life is looked after. And the big tanks were amazing. Plenty of seating so you co

A fantastic day out for curious kids and adults alike!

for the family. Well cared animals and well cared for infographics! The large tanks are mesmerising.

My daughter(4yrs old) spent a long time just watching the exhibits in the large tanks and the uk native tide tank. There was plenty of friendly staff on hand to answer questions.

The variety of sea creatures was great from tiny starfish(4mm) to large sand tiger sharks.

The sea anemones were beautiful!

The cafe was reasonably priced and the shop had some lovely children’s books.

An amazing Aquarium and a great day out.

The Aquarium is huge with a stunning Atlantic tank with sharks, rays and a charismatic turtle, but there is also a sizable tank with local fish and small tanks with beautiful lighting for jellyfish and much more. We spent all morning looking round. The Aquarium does conservation work too and you can peek in the windows to some of their labs.

We did the snorkel experience – which is in the Atlantic tank – we booked that about 4 months in advance. It was amazing, a really intimate experience with some creatures I am unlikely to get close to in the wild.
