Set in a spectacular ancient valley, Dartmoor’s famous Becky Falls has been delighting visitors since 1903 — and no trip to Devon is complete without a visit.
Explore over 50 acres of woodland and streams, rich in wildlife. Choose from three colour-coded trails:
• Blue Trail – wander through ancient oak woodland and enjoy the Children’s Nature Trail (with a prize for every child)
• Red Trail – discover our dramatic 70ft waterfall
• Purple Trail – more rugged terrain with lower falls views and a fun boulder scramble
Animal lovers can explore our small zoo and exotics house, home to meerkats, reptiles, and more. Join hourly Meet-the-Keeper talks (11am–4pm) — check the ‘What’s On’ board when you arrive for today’s topics.
Pre-book up-close experiences like our Meerkat or Reptile Encounters, or try our Junior Keeper Experience to make the most of your day.
Don’t forget to visit our licensed woodland café and gift shop. Dogs are very welcome too!

Are dogs allowed at Becky Falls?
Becky Falls is dog friendly and dogs are allowed everywhere except inside the Animal Discovery Zone. There is a strict ‘dog on leads’ rule.
