May Magic at Canonteign Falls
May is a truly magical time to visit Canonteign Falls. With cascading waterfalls, tranquil lakes, and 90 acres of woodland trails and adventure playgrounds, there’s something for everyone to enjoy — from nature lovers and families to curious explorers of all ages.
This month, the stars of the show are our beautiful foxgloves and ferns, adding vibrant colour and texture to every corner of the estate. Our seasonal children’s trails will be running daily throughout May, alongside all the fun of our playgrounds, Labyrinths, and nature walks.

- VE Day Celebration – Warship Open Day
Join us on Saturday 11th May as we mark VE Day with a special Warship Open Day — a great way for the whole family to connect with history and enjoy a day outdoors. - May Half Term Fun (25th May – 2nd June)
We’ve got a packed half-term planned, including:- Colourful face painting
- Our ever-popular alpaca walks Tuesday 27th May
- A brand-new seasonal trail activity to spark young imaginations
