Taste East Devon; Afternoon Tea & Donkey Enrichment Workshop

Join us for an afternoon tea as part of the Taste East Devon Festival this September.

Take part in an enrichment workshop where you will create beneficial enrichment toys for the donkeys, followed by a donkey talk about the sanctuary, before a donkey-inspired afternoon tea. Set with a view of the rolling Jurassic coast, watch donkeys roam free over tea, scones and cakes as part of the annual Taste East Devon Food Festival.

We’re giving you the exclusive opportunity to experience our Donkey Assisted Activities Centre. Take part in an enrichment workshop where you will create beneficial enrichment toys for the donkeys, followed by a donkey talk about the sanctuary.

A quintessential Devon afternoon
Following your workshop, we invite you to join us at The Kitchen for an indulgent donkey-themed afternoon tea, created especially as part of the Taste East Devon Festival.

Delight in three tiers of handcrafted delicacies, sweet treats, and a selection of homemade cakes. Crowned on the top tier are our freshly baked scones, served traditionally with Devon jam and Cornish clotted cream.

Your afternoon tea will be accompanied by your choice of Clipper tea or a freshly brewed Americano coffee.

Tickets
Tickets cost £30, including the afternoon tea and tour. Pre-booking is required, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
