Step into the world of Christmas cinema for a unique festive dining experience at The Box.
Following previously sold-out tasting events, this special evening features a six-course menu inspired by some of the most iconic and most-loved Christmas films ever made. From the playful nostalgia of Elf and Home Alone, through the darker worlds of Die Hard and The Nightmare Before Christmas, to the warmth and generosity of The Muppet Christmas Carol, each course brings a different story to the table through flavour, colour and craft.
Rather than recreating food seen on screen, each dish has been carefully researched and developed by Head Chef Mike, to capture something recognisable about its film, whether a memorable moment, a character, a visual theme or the feeling it evokes at Christmas.
Throughout the evening, local community choir Blokes Who Sing will perform songs connected to the films, adding another layer of storytelling and filling The Box with the sound of Christmas.
Expect creative cooking, familiar flavours presented in unexpected ways, live music, plenty of nostalgia and a few surprises along the way!
