This summer enjoy a game of guess the adoption donkey at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon - and win a prize!
Do you know which of the sanctuary’s adoption friends is most playful, has the fluffiest ears or is the biggest of the herd? This summer get to know the nine adoption donkeys in Sidmouth with this entertaining family trail that combines fun, exercise and brainpower.
There is a different adoption friend hiding behind the stable doors located around the sanctuary – see if you can guess which donkey is where, using the clues provided on the trail sheet. Don’t worry if you can’t guess straight away, just go to the location of each stable to solve the clue and reveal the mystery donkey. Using the donkey stickers provided, complete the trail sheet and WIN a prize. Just £3 per trail, including prize and certificate on completion.
As well as the adoption donkeys there are hundreds more cared for at the sanctuary just waiting to meet you, including the gentle giant Poitous and the adorable miniature donkeys. The ‘Donkeys Matter’ garden created for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019 to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary, will also be on display at the sanctuary this summer. It demonstrates the vital importance of donkeys in providing some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities with access to clean, fresh water.
Entry and parking at the sanctuary is FREE. Dogs on leads are welcome.
