Location: Grange Restaurant, Buckfast, Devon

Contract type: Permanent and full time

Salary:  £10.04 per hour (aged 21 and over) /  £8.10 per hour (aged 18 to 20 yrs)

Hours of work: 40 hours per week – 5 days per week to include weekends

Reporting to: Executive Head Chef

If you have:

  • Positive, ‘can do’ attitude and teamwork ability
  • Great attention to detail and the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, without compromise to standards
  • Ability to see what needs to be done and to take ownership for completing the task
  • Ability to follow schedules and processes for cleaning, waste, deliveries and storage
  • Basic food preparation skill
  • Flexibility – in working hours, to work across our kitchens and to assist Front of House team in service as required
  • Health, safety and environmental awareness and focus
  • Experience in busy catering environment (desirable)
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate (desirable, but can complete in post)
  • A full UK driving licence to enable onsite movement (desirable)
