When you plan a family day out in North Devon, you look for an experience that stays with you long after you’ve headed home. While our rollercoasters and indoor play areas offer non-stop energy, there is one experience at The Milky Way Adventure Park that consistently steals the hearts of visitors of all ages: our spectacular Birds of Prey Centre and live flying displays.
Whether you are a family of nature enthusiasts or simply looking for an unforgettable show, here is what makes a visit to our dedicated centre an absolute must-see this season.

Up-Close and Personal at the Centre
Our Birds of Prey Centre is designed to let you appreciate these magnificent apex predators up close. Home to a beautiful collection of owls, hawks, falcons, and eagles, the centre gives visitors a rare window into the world of falconry.
As you walk through, you’ll get to see the unique personalities of our resident birds. Our passionate falconer, Dave Rampling, has a gift for sharing the stories of these fascinating bird’s, their hunting habits, conservation in the wild, and the dedicated care they receive here at the park.
The Main Event: The Live Flying Display
If you think seeing them in the centre is thrilling, just wait until they take to the skies. Our live, interactive flying displays are legendary, blending education, humour, and jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics.
Watch in awe as fast falcons stoop through the air, clever hawks showcase their precision landing skills, and silent owls glide just inches above the crowd. It is a fully immersive experience where you don’t just watch the action, you are right in the middle of it!

Make a Day of It
The Birds of Prey Centre is just one part of your adventure. Once you’ve watched the skies, you can test your nerve on our rollercoasters, challenge the kids to a futuristic laser target game, or let the little ones burn off steam in our massive indoor soft play areas.
Don’t forget to check our daily schedule upon arrival so you can sync up your ride times with our scheduled flying displays. We can’t wait to welcome you!
