Exeter Chiefs at River Dart Country Park

Premiership rugby team, Exeter Chiefs, took their pre-season training schedule to award-winning outdoor attraction and campsite, River Dart Country Park last Friday 9th August.

The squad were put through their paces by undertaking a whole host of team building activities and challenges. With Chiefs Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, looking on, the players completed timed activities including a Tractor Pull, Log Run, Jacobs Ladder and a Log Run. The session put together by River Dart Country Park’s onsite activity provider, CRS Adventures, looks to challenge both the physical and mental strength of the players.

Baxter’s men previously visited River Dart Country Park in similar circumstances back in 2017, and the team went on to clinch the Premiership title later that season.

“It was an absolute pleasure to host the Exeter Chiefs again, they worked well together to complete the tasks we put to them and were incredibly professional in their approach. We would like to wish them all the success in the season ahead.” – Roger Sell, River Dart Country Park General Manager
