Join us on Saturday 19 November 2022 on the Barbican and Sutton Harbour, for the wonderful Christmas lights switch-on, sponsored by PL1 Events, with an afternoon of festive family fun with free activities, rides and entertainment from 12pm to 6pm.
There will be Christmas themed street performers and stilt walkers, including a very cute baby reindeer and the mischievous Grinch! Children can enjoy the Christmas Fairy’s storytelling with hot chocolate at The Maritime Inn at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, plus free face painting and rides to have a go on too, including the snow globe, rodeo reindeer and a paddle board simulator!
Look out for the festive bus on Southside Street (by The Navy), which will be hosting the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Santa and the nominated community hero, who will be switching on the awesome sparkly Christmas lights, at approximately 5.30pm.
Santa will then take a trip on the festive bus around the waterfront, spreading his Christmas cheer, be sure to give him a wave if you see him.
