LEGO® bridge building
More information

Can you build a Victorian-style bridge strong enough to support a steam train thundering over it?

Come and have a go with the experts from Brick Ideas in this two-hour long workshop.

Around the same time that RAMM was built, as seen in the Brick by Brick exhibition, Victorian engineers were also working on other marvels of engineering, such as Brunel’s Bridge.

Learn about and build different types of bridges from LEGO®, and design and construct fabulous trains. Then, joining other participants, see if you can combine your section into a four-metre long Truss bridge strong enough to carry a train over a gaping expanse!

Suitable for accompanied children aged 5 or above.
Please arrive for the start of the session.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
