View EventIf our ancestors looked up at the night sky half a million years ago, what would they have seen?
How different would it have been from what we see today? Join Rob from astronomy charity ‘Dartmoor Skies’ for an insightful, fun and interactive talk which will explore what previous inhabitants of Kents Cavern would and wouldn’t have seen when they gazed skyward. If the sky is clear there will be a guided tour of the night sky and a chance to see some wonders of the universe first hand through Dartmoor Skies’ brilliant telescopes. If the weather is bad then a guided cave tour will take place in which you will get to see the true beauty of these magnificent and scientifically significant caves. It’s a real win-win.
£10 per person, Booking essential. 6pm – 8pm. Warm clothing and sensible footwear recommended. All children must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
