Join professional plant foraging guide Myrtle Cooper and RAMM’s archaeology expert Tom Cadbury as we explore the history of plant lore in this walk on Dartmoor.

During the walk, we’ll investigate some of the moor’s archaeology and its otherworldly connection to nature while finding out more about contemporary and historical uses of plants for food and medicine.

Myrtle is the founder of ‘Wild & Curious Foraging’. She has an MSc in Ecological Food Systems at Schumacher College in Dartington, Devon, and has been sharing her love of plants with people for over a decade. She was also featured on BBC One’s River Walks – The Dart.

Myrtle has developed a plant practice rooted in ecopsychology, plant communication, and nature re-connection, that powerfully entwines us back with the land and to our own inner nature through the ancient art of foraging.

Please come equipped for walking on the moor with appropriate footwear, clothing and drinking water.
