In tandem with its celebration of nature, Canonteign Falls shares a profound appreciation for the arts, a sentiment echoed by estate owners Chris and Kate Baylis. As part of the 2024 season, Canonteign Kitchen unveils an exhibition featuring the works of esteemed local artist, Rachel Z Garner.
Rachel Garner’s artistic journey is one characterized by a fascination with layering, light, and subtle texturing. Through experimentation with varnish, oil, and resin, she has cultivated an abstract style that draws inspiration from the majestic British coastline and Devon’s rugged moors.
