Diggerland is 'Good To Go' and reopens on 11th July

Diggerland is ‘Good To Go’ and reopens on 11th July!

Popular family theme park Diggerland is set to open its doors to the public as of Saturday, July 11th.

Staff at the attraction have been working very hard in the recent weeks to get the park to a high standard ready for a safe opening.

Now, Diggerland is pleased and proud to announce that all four UK-based digger parks are ‘Good To Go’ and have been awarded the ‘Visit Britain’ seal of approval.

Tourism in Britain has been greatly affected and so the Visit Britain tourism board introduced the new industry standard to help build confidence around tourism organisations in Britain and encourage the public to enjoy days out.

Visitors wishing to make a visit to Diggerland must now book their tickets in advance and should not visit if they are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.

Diggerland have introduced various safety measures including social distancing, non-contact temperature checking for guests and staff members upon arrival, contactless payment options in the admissions, gift shop and food areas, take-away food options or advise to take a picnic. Guests are also advised to wash their hands regularly, use the hand sanitiser provided and wear face coverings especially for certain rides and drives. Diggerland however have had to close certain areas including the children’s soft play and Little Tikes play zones.

Diggerland ask that any visitors read the Covid-19 statement via the Diggerland website, prior to making a visit.
