South West Tourism Awards
  1. We are thrilled to announce that Torre Abbey Museum has been crowned winners in a number of categories at two South West Tourism Awards.

Torre Abbey won Gold and Silver at the Herald Express South Devon Tourism & Hospitality Awards on Thursday 29 November 2018.

Torre Abbey was awarded Gold in the Inclusive Access and Silver in the Visitor Attraction of the Year categories at a glittering awards ceremony, which took place at the Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC).

These awards are in addition to winning Bronze in the Small Attraction of the Year category at the Visit Devon Awards which took place on 22 November 2018.

Cllr Nicole Amil, Executive Lead for Tourism, Culture and Harbours said ‘these awards are testament to the hard work of all the team who make sure Torre Abbey is a warm and welcoming place for visitors, and who ensure that we continue to bring an amazing programme of events and exhibitions to the Abbey’.

In a recent visitor survey, visitors said they couldn’t believe what a great place Torre Abbey was to visit and there was a 100% likelihood they would return.

Torre Abbey is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm (last admission 4pm).
