Rails & Ales Beer festival

Join the South Devon Railway for the return of their famous Beer Festival at Staverton Station.

Rails & Ales is back for the first time since March 2020, certain passenger trains are timetabled to stop at Staverton so you can alight and enjoy the extensive selection of ales and craft beers, along with cider, wine and there will be prosecco and Pimms too!

There will be over 45 Real Ales, plus 10 craft beer taps.

The bar opens from 11am until late.

There will be hot food and light refreshments available every day except Monday.

Enjoy the BBQ on Friday and Saturday with Chilli on Sunday (1700-2000)

Special return train services to/from Staverton.

The main train ‘The Devonian’ will run between Buckfastleigh and Totnes only for which seat reservations are compulsory.

A stopping train with unreserved seating will operate between Buckfastleigh, Staverton and Totnes. Seats for this service are available on a first come first served basis and customers may be required to share tables and compartments with other passengers.
