Join the team at Buckfast Abbey for a fantastic bell ringing experience.
The day includes ringing demonstrations on 2 ‘mini rings’, live video streaming from the ringing chamber and bell viewing gallery, education and craft activities, a ringing exhibition, BBQ and a service of celebration of bell ringing with the Bell Ringers Choir.
The event will take place at 1.45pm
It is intended for the exhibition to be in place all week from Mon 6th August, this will include information on the history of ringing at Buckfast Abbey with never before seen archive photographs and a wider look at ringing in Devon. Bell ringers will be on hand to talk about ringing in their local tower and how you can get involved.
