Join us for family fun this Easter!
Come along to Quince Honey Farm this Easter and enjoy fun for all the family, including honey tasting, seed planting, indoor and outdoor play and loads more!
THE BEES ARE BACK! We love this time of year because the bees are active once again following their winter rest! Enjoy our live Beekeeping Demos, hold a frame of bees, and view our display hives in complete safety. You may even see them buzzing around enjoying our beautiful Nectar Gardens.
The Easter activity programme runs daily and you can quite easily spend the whole day here exploring the site.
Activities include:
- Beekeeping Demo – watch as a real honeybee hive will be opened in front of your eyes (from behind protective glass) to show you what goes on in the colony!
- Honey Factory Tour & Taste – see our production areas and sample some of our delicious honeys.
- Garden Tour – discover our pollinator friendly gardens and find out how you can help bees in your own garden.
- Seed Bar – visit our seed bar to plant a bee-friendly seed to take home with you.
- Beeswax & Candle Rolling – learn about the amazing substance that is beeswax and roll your own candle to take home with you.
- Curious Creatures – meet some other curious creatures, including Giant Snails and Stick Insects!
Time to Explore – you can enjoy exploring at your leisure (access included in Full Attraction ticket)…
- EAT – at our award-winning Nectary Restaurant
- EXPLORE – the Nectar Gardens, Meadow Trail & Sculptures. Children will enjoy the Buzzy Bee Bingo activity sheet available from the Shop.
- PLAY – in the Play Hive Indoor & Outdoor Play Areas.
- SHOP – browse our shop which is full of wonderful honey, beeswax candles and bee-autiful gifts!
