Spring has sprung at Buckland, so pop on your hat and coat and come along for a visit that the whole family is sure to love this half term.
Spring’s a great time to get crafty, with a whole host of workshops running throughout the half term week. From making bird feeders to magical fairy houses, there’s a chance to get creative every day in the schoolroom:
Sat 16, Mon 18, Tues 19, Fri 22, Sat 23 and Sun 24, 11-3 – Pine cone bird feeder making in the schoolroom. Come along and create a tasty treat for our feathered friends – please be aware that we will be using peanut butter for this activity.
Sun 17 and Wed 20, 11-4 – Naturemake in the schoolroom. Using all natural materials, you can create miniature worlds and creatures with the help of the Naturemake team. Prices start from £4 (cash only please).
Thurs 21, 12-3 – meet the Ranger team and tick off one of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 3/4 – making wild art. Remember to bring outdoor clothing and sturdy boots as this activity takes place out on the estate.
Sat 16, Sun 17, Wed 20, Thurs 21, Fri 22, Sat 23 and Sun 24, 11-3 – fused glass workshops. Visit the Serendipity Glass workshop in the Ox Yard and you can create your own coaster or hanging decoration with Annie. £10 per piece including postage.
