Uncover the hidden treasure to claim your gold reward at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon!
Take part in The Donkey Sanctuary’s Golden Anniversary celebrations with this entertaining family activity that combines fun, exercise and brainpower.
Follow the various clues around the sanctuary to find the golden carrots and discover interesting facts relating to special events or achievements that have defined their first 50 years, before uncovering the hidden treasure to claim your golden reward. Just £3 per treasure hunt.
On your quest to find the treasure, you’ll get to meet some of the hundreds of friendly donkeys who are cared for at the sanctuary, including the gentle giant Poitous, the lovable adoption donkeys and the adorable minis.
As well, make the most of your visit by joining one of the fascinating tours, talks and demonstrations to learn more about the furry residents. Before exploring the exciting new indoor attractions to discover just why donkeys are so special through fun, interactive displays.
Enjoy fresh, local, seasonal produce while soaking in the unparallelled coast and country views from the Taste of the West Gold award-winning restaurant, The Kitchen. Hearty breakfasts, luscious lunches and tempting treats are served daily from 9am to 5pm. And for unique donkey-design items and souvenirs to remember your visit by, head to the new Gift Shop.
Entry and parking at the sanctuary is FREE. Dogs on leads are welcome.
