Murder mystery event at RAMM
Join us for a night of murder mystery at the museum. Explore the galleries and meet the key players in our story. Can you and your friends help us to find the culprit?
All the clues will be there to lead you to the right conclusion, but will they be correctly deduced? Chief Inspector Appleby, with the help of the other guests, is determined to get to the truth before the evening is over!
The Mystery
It’s 1935 and a rambler exploring Dartmoor chances upon Grey Wethers in a thick mist. They find, at its very centre, the body of a man with, what proves to be, a Neolithic dagger in his chest. In life he had been Professor Franklin Blake and had been leading a group of fellow archaeologists on a trip to the Moor.
The group are staying in Exeter, working with the support of the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, and now an investigation is underway to discover the identity of Professor Blake’s killer. The investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Charles Appleby of the Devon Constabulary and, on this night, he will gather his suspects at the museum.
As the investigation unfolds further tensions and revelations will come to light. Will there be a further death?
The evening is written and performed by the Moonstone Theatre company.
This event is for over 18s only.
