Meet the award-winning Ragged Victorians
The award-winning Ragged Victorians return for May bank holiday weekend.
Step back in time to meet the men, woman and children of lower class Victorian England c.1851. Find out more about them at http://www.raggedvictorians.co.uk/homeless
Plus join the Morwellham costumed guides as they show you how life was as a Victorian. Become Victorian school children, help make a piece of rope, smash rocks to find copper, make your own bread roll and chocolate lolly.
Take the 40 minute train ride into the George and Charlotte copper mine, spend 20 minutes taking in the views of the River Tamar before entering the mine for a guided tour.
Camping is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
