An after-hours night of entertainment exploring medicine, the body and well-being.

Enjoy live music from Mississippi Hill Country/Delta Blues duo Southern Fried Groove Queens and classical performances from The Piano Doctor, Jess Duckworth.

Get involved with anatomical drawing and models and have a go at building origami pelvises with students from the University of Exeter.

Dance in our silent disco surrounded by the objects in our collection or take part in a authentic Hiphop dance workshop with Louise Latham, creative director of Urbanflow Streetdance.

If you’re looking for something more peaceful there will be the opportunity to take part in a gong and sound bath with Inner Space Sounds.

Enjoy cider tasting with Gray’s Devon Cider accompanied by a performance from singer-songwriter Jim Causley and folk singer Bill Murray. This is part of artist Simon Pope’s project Here’s To Thee, that experiments with the relationships between microbial ecology and human community.

The evening will include a talk by Global Cadaver Expert Hope Gangata and a tour by our curator Holly Carter-Chapel of our ‘A Picture of Health: Exeter’s Medical History’ exhibition. The Devon and Exeter Medical Heritage Trust will also be bringing along historical medical instruments for you to discover more about.

Book your tickets now to be sure not to miss out and enjoy an alternative night out with friends.
