A three panel exhibition of woven works that will grace the Cathedral from 7th January – 22nd February.
Many of us know something about the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil placed in the Garden in Eden – but know less about the Tree of Life that stood with it. Both were placed in the centre of the garden – both had fruit freely available for Adam and Eve. The Maker gave them a choice – to eat the healthy life giving fruit from the Tree of Life or to eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil – to choose life or death. Explore the story of the Tree of Life through these beautifully vivid textiles.
This exhibition is included as part of your admission to the Cathedral.
