Take the next stage in your willow weaving journey with our intermediate basket weaving workshop!

In this relaxed and friendly workshop you will learn the intermediate willow weaving techniques and finishings to create a traditional stake and strand round basket, including 3 rod wale, French rand and 1/1 rod borders, using locally grown willow. This is a perfect next step in learning the art of willow weaving and is ideal for those who have completed our beginners basket workshop or those who already have a familiarity with weaving. The intermediate workshop will hone your weaving skills with more focus on precision and technique in order to achieve a flawless finish.

  • Saturday 25th April 2026, 10:00am – 1:00pm
  • Saturday 14th November 2026, 10:00am – 1:00pm
