Update from Pecorama

Although the tourist attraction has to remain closed for now, some key Pecorama staff are keeping the gardens and steam railway in good order, ready for whenever we may be able to welcome visitors again in the future.

Also, the Beer Heights Light Railway engineers steamed up an engine and made a lovely, rather poignant little video to help celebrate VE day.

Pecorama’s manufacturing parent company PECO model Railways has been putting it’s time to good use while main manufacturing was paused, by producing ear guards for face masks free of charge for the many carers in our area.

We would like to send a huge thank you to all the NHS staff and key workers from everyone at PECO.

We are pleased to say PECO Factory is now back up and running producing our model railway products to keep up with huge demand.  Our ever popular model shop is offering mail order via telephone 01297 21542 or email –  [email protected].

The PECO team in the Railway Modeller magazine office are working from home and able to carry on producing the popular PECO TV “how to” videos on YouTube to help enthusiasts both young and older to pass the time in quarantine brushing up on their modelling skills.
