All boats have an outdoor upper deck with oodles of fresh air and cosy blankets for great viewing and indoor, heated lower decks with huge windows – perfect whatever the weather has in store!

By Car
Simply follow the brown tourism signs for Stuart Line Cruises, Exmouth. These will direct you to Exmouth Seafront and direct you to turn right. Follow the seafront road down to Exmouth Marina where you will find our Booking Office in the blue and white building on the corner.
There is limited free parking available on the side streets, please check road signs for local restrictions.
By Train
Exmouth Train Station (EX8 1BZ) is located a short, flat walk from our Booking Office (approximately 10 minutes). Trains run from Exeter Central Station every 30 minutes – please check their timetable for specific times.
Walk out of the train station and you will see Marks & Spencer on your right. Stay on this side of the road and walk along the pavement towards the mini roundabout. Just before the mini roundabout, cross the road at the Zebra Crossing and then continue to walk along Imperial Road. Take the first right-hand road turning, onto Victoria Road and follow this road right to the end. Stuart Line Cruises’ Booking Office is located at the end of Victoria Road – you cannot miss us!
By Bus
The 57 Stagecoach bus runs every 15-minutes from Exeter city centre to Exmouth town centre (The Strand). It is then a 10 or 15-minute walk to Stuart Line Cruises.
Our boat trips from Topsham leave from Topsham Quay, in front of The Lighter Inn and next to the Antiques Warehouse (large red brick building with painted green windows and doors). We do not have a Kiosk or Booking Office in Topsham and there will not be a member of our staff there. Passengers should wait on the quayside for the boat to arrive.
By Car
Once in Topsham, simply follow the signs for parking in the town – there are several pay and display car parks to choose from. The following car parks are within reasonable walking distance of the boat departure point on Topsham Quay.
By Train
Topsham Train Station (EX3 0DS) is located approximately a 10-minute walk from the boat departure point at Topsham Quay (EX3 0JB). Trains run approximately every 30 minutes between Exeter, Topsham and Exmouth and you are advised to check times before travelling. This is the method of transport included in our Round Robin Boat and Train Cruise.
By Bus
The number 57 bus runs regularly Exeter, Topsham and Exmouth. The stop in Topsham high-street is called The Nelson (EX3 0ED) and this is approximately a 7-minute walk from the boat departure point at Topsham Quay (EX3 0JB).
The ‘T’ Bus runs between Topsham Train Station and Topsham Quay, with several other stops located throughout the town.
By Bike
The Exe Estuary Cycle Trail runs alongside the River Exe, linking the towns of Exmouth and Topsham with Exeter City Centre. If you intend to cycle to us, we recommend that you plan your route, and you should contact our Booking Office on 01395 222144 to check whether or not it will be suitable to take your bicycle on your cruise with you.
Follow the blue Cycle Path signs to the seafront. Stuart Line Cruises’ Booking Office is located at the end of Victoria road and you will see us straight in front of you in the blue and white building. Once here, you will find limited bicycle wrack facilities in the car park, behind our Booking Office.
Our departure point at Exeter Canal Basin does not have a booking office but is situated on the Canal Basin side of The Quay, close to The Rockfish Restaurant. The satnav postcode is EX2 8DP.
A uniformed Stuart Line Cruises Staff member will be at the Exeter Canal Basin approximately two hours prior to the departure time and will be wearing a white shirt with red epaulettes or a white shirt and & red jacket. Our Staff will be extremely happy to help so please make sure that you ask if you are unsure as to where you need to be. If you cannot find our Staff and you are within two hours of the departure time, it is likely that you are in the wrong place. If you are unsure as to where to find the departure point and you cannot see a uniformed Stuart Line Cruises Staff member, you should call our Booking Office for clarification on 01395 222144.
Due to the popularity of our boat trips departing from Exeter, we would strongly recommend booking in advance as it extremely unlikely there would be space available on the day.
By Car
Once in Exeter, there are three main Council-run Pay and Display Car Parks to choose from. As always, you must allow plenty of time to avoid the risk of missing the boat. The following car parks are located within reasonable walking distance of the boat departure point.
